The rumors have finally been confirmed: actress Megan Fox is the star of the upcoming Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans campaigns.

Rumors began swirling that Fox would replace current spokesmodel Victoria Beckham in the Emporio Armani campaign after the 23-year-old actress made a surprise appearance at the Giorgio Armani Privé show in July. Fox, the star of the “Transformers” franchise, is considered to be the Hollywood sex symbol and a favorite cover girl of men’s magazines in both the U.S. and Europe.

According to WWD, Fox was shot by famed duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott this past weekend. The new Armani images featuring Fox will start running worldwide in January. None of the images have leaked as of yet, but we can expect to see them in print ads and billboards in the near future.

Expect teenaged boys to start buying copies of Vogue for those ads…

David Beckham showed his prowess on the football field at Wembley on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. But today it was his pant prowess that was being scrutinized! David Beckham fans took over one of Britain’s busiest streets as the footballer unveiled the latest image for his Armani underwear campaign of himself wearing only underpants.

The event marked the launch of Emporio Armani’s new underwear campaign, which stars the footballer and a poster in which he is pictured clutching a rope as he models the snug-fitting pants was unveiled outside Selfridges in London’s Oxford Street. In his campest photoshoot yet, the 34-year-old LA Galaxy and Milan star poses stripped to black pants, with a rope coiled around his waist. His hair is slicked down and side-parted.

Beckham, more fully dressed in a navy single-breasted Armani suit and accompanied by presenter Gaby Logan, seemed bemused by the attention and screams from fans and from hundreds of onlookers as the poster was revealed at the store. The crowd, many of whom had been there since 9am, jostled for space on the pavement, already crowded because of the tube strike. As the first billboard of Beckham to appear in London was unveiled, the crowd cheered and wolf-whistled their approval. One girl was sick with excitement over the barricade. His wife, Victoria Beckham, was inside the store, in personal shopping.

Beckham, was asked if he enjoyed the experience and said he did not mind the photos being taken, but added: “When they’re unveiled it’s a little embarrassing.” He said he did not go on special diets for the pictures to be taken but “obviously I work out before these shoots”. Beckham added: “I’m very proud to be here today.”

Giorgio Armani said, “David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges.”

The image was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott renowned fashion photographers who are also responsible for the images of Victoria Beckham for Armani.

The company has seen a 150% rise in the sale of their pants – as seen on Beckham – since the three-year deal, rumoured to be worth £10m launched in 2007.

Bridal wear genius Vera Wang has signed on to compete in the next season of Dancing With the Stars, E! News reports. As one of the world’s most influential people in fashion, Wang is a far cry from the occasionally down-and-out celebs and reality TV stars who normally participate in the show, but she has the chops to win. Vera trained as a pro figure skater when she was younger, so there’s a decent probability she’ll follow in the footsteps of DWTS’s season six champion, Kristi Yamaguchi.

It’s hard to believe that Wang will be 60 years old by the time the new season kicks off this fall. She’s designed skating costumes for Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan in the past, so maybe this means we’ll be seeing Vera get down in some original designs. Dancing With the Stars is getting more fashionable for sure!

Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams has just released a new album, The Real Thing, which must be why the singer seems committed to keeping it real in promotional interviews. When asked by Essence about her beauty and skincare regimen, Williams was strikingly honest; “Twice a year I receive BOTOX injections from a doctor whom I trust very much. I also have some favorite beauty products that I use on a daily basis – Perfekt’s Skin perfection Gel and Mila Moursi’s moisturizing oil.”

But Williams has been candid about her love of Botox before. She once said, “I did after I turned 40. But I told the doctor, ‘My face has got to move. I am not looking for perfection, I am looking for refreshment.’”

Plenty of other celebrities have been open about their use of Botox, including Jenny McCarthy, Jennie Garth, Linda Evangelista, David Hasselhoff, Janice Dickinson, and Lori Laughlin.

The Daniel Swarovski collection – the high end couture collection of Swarovski accessories generally found adorning celebrities on the red carpet, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and with that come 20 new bag designs and 20 new pieces of jewelry to commemorate the brand’s history.

Rather than reviving accessories from the archives, Swarovski artistic director Nathalie Colin chose to highlight how far their crystal technology has come with innovative applications of the famed crystals, from crystals applied to precious stones and pearls to exotic skins. The processes add up to spectacular-looking pieces with blinding luminosity. Bling is definitely not out it’s just made out of crystals now, instead of diamonds.

This season, 1920’s art deco design inspired the look and feel of the pieces, from the vintage-looking styles of the delicate evening bags to the deco patterns used for the crystal settings. And in a nod to the changing demands of red carpet walking clients, the bags are now slightly larger to accommodate their number one purse accessory: the Blackberry.

Also new for Swarovski this year is an expanded watch collection, with high quality Swiss-made timepieces at the core of the new designs. For women, styles range from a crystal cuff, the “D:Light,” with a time display made up of crystals that light up only when a button is pressed ($1,500-$1,7000), to edgier styles like a wrap-around leather band ($575) or classic timepieces with a metal watchband and subtle crystal bezel ($650-$750).

Swarovski’s signature jewelry collection for autumn/winter 2009/10, “Nature Reloaded,” follows the nature-oriented theme started for spring with “Super Nature.” For this collection, Swarovski took a trip to an enchanted forest with wooden pendants embedded with crystals, to mushroom-shaped charms to smoky hues of plum, forest green and black crystal. Other key looks include serpent bangles and necklaces and Swarovski’s unofficial mascot characters, Erika and Elvis, re-imagined as a butterfly and a bumblebee, respectively.

Rapper Lil’ Kim and her partner Derek Hough may have been the top scorers on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars — earning two 10s with their fiery jive set to Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” — but their onstage success was nearly upstaged by a potential wardrobe malfunction! Host Tom Bergeron provided cover while the rapper adjusted as she and Hough approached the judges table.

Lil’ Kim told KABC-TV after the show: “I don’t know why this happens a lot of the time, but … the girls were tryin’ to come out.”

The nearly X-rated moment was edited out by the time the show was rebroadcast on the West Coast, but it didn’t seem to bother the judges: Lil’ Kim and Hough posted a night’s best 28 out of a possible 30 for their spirited dance.

Last week Tori Spelling’s mother came out with her book and this week Tori came out with hers:  ‘Mommywood’.   The two have been talking through the press a lot lately without direct communication with one another.  That has got to be strange, right?  Candy Spelling took to her website to plead with her daughter to talk with her.

But Tori has been getting more press about her weight than her new book for a good reason! The former 90210 actress has been looking rail-thin in recent months, with her arms and legs causing plenty of speculation about an eating disorder. She gave birth to her daughter Stella 10 months ago.

But Tori says she’s completely healthy. She told People Magazine that she has definitely felt pressure to be thin in Hollywood and she’s “not anorexic.”:

“I acknowledge that I look thin in photos. I get it,” she says about the 40 lbs. she’s lost since delivering Stella last June. “Obviously I don’t want to lose any more weight, but people haven’t seen me not pregnant in two and a half years. I’m eating healthy, I just have a crazy lifestyle. I’m the first to admit that sometimes I don’t have the time to sit down for a well-balanced meal. Usually you kind of just finish whatever your child doesn’t eat. I’m like, ‘Cool, you have a few pieces of hot dog left and one broccoli floret and a fry, I’ll take it.’”

“I want to be a positive role-model for my daughter,” Tori continues. “The last thing I want to put out there is that it’s acceptable to be too thin or have an eating disorder because you’re in Hollywood. I have two kids that I need to be healthy for because they need their mom.”

While Kim Kardashian showed up looking absolutely fabulous in Camilla and Marc Alabama dress with her White Eel Christian Louboutin N.Prive Slingbacks, Tori on the other hand, looked like a giant stack of celery! Who told Tori this dress looked flattering?

Apparently the Jonas Brothers have put out a book, a 3-D movie, and are working on a TV show in addition to whatever else it is that they do (throw sweaty boxer shorts at screaming 12-year-olds?). We always knew that the Jonas Brothers were stylish and now they’re taking it to a new level. Now, the Brothers are launching a clothing line for tween girls for back-to-school, inspired by the fashions on their new Disney show. Called Jonas, the line will be available for purchase at retailers including WalMart, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penney’s and will retail from $9.99 to $24.99. Pieces include ruffly denim skirts, polo shirts, and plaid shorts.

The irony, of course, is that the Jonas Brothers have nothing to do with the new fashion line, since it’s all based on the fictitious brothers in show. Not that that would matter. The boys are pretty much just a marketable commodity these days; it’s a wonder anyone in the industry ever remembers they’re actually living, breathing young men and not just money making machines. You may now go back to not knowing if they are in fact real brothers!
