The rumors have finally been confirmed: actress Megan Fox is the star of the upcoming Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans campaigns.

Rumors began swirling that Fox would replace current spokesmodel Victoria Beckham in the Emporio Armani campaign after the 23-year-old actress made a surprise appearance at the Giorgio Armani Privé show in July. Fox, the star of the “Transformers” franchise, is considered to be the Hollywood sex symbol and a favorite cover girl of men’s magazines in both the U.S. and Europe.

According to WWD, Fox was shot by famed duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott this past weekend. The new Armani images featuring Fox will start running worldwide in January. None of the images have leaked as of yet, but we can expect to see them in print ads and billboards in the near future.

Expect teenaged boys to start buying copies of Vogue for those ads…

Victoria Beckham arrived for her very first day on American Idol this weekend. The star showed up to help judge auditions in Denver Friday and smiled and shook hands with fans on the way in.

The Daily News reported that the former Spice Girl, who’s getting a reported $219,000 for appearing in one episode, said that she’s looking forward to a “bit of banter” with Simon Cowell, since he’s the “only man in the industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said that they would never work.”

Seems like Victoria plans to fill Paula Abdul’s shoes as the sweet judge. She said of the former Idol judge, “I hope she does something that’s bigger and better, and I hope she’s going to be happy. She’s great so she’s going to be good at whatever she does.”

Looks like she’s already making up for her hubby’s recent streak of bad publicity.

Defying all odds, Mischa Barton who has been released from psychiatric ward has been hard at work on the set of her new show, The Beautiful Life, despite her breakdown just weeks ago.

The 23-year-old actress was spotted on location at New York City Hall today, looking healthy and vibrant in a fabulous metallic Versace Spring 2009 minidress and a pair of studded, buckled boots.

Hopefully the work will keep Mischa focused on her career and her health. It definitely doesn’t help that her supposed “friends” have been claiming to outlets who will listen that the actress is “on the verge of another breakdown.”

Meanwhile, family friend Eric Ziegenbein told Heat Magazine that the actress was already back to her partying ways.

Will Lady Gaga be the next celebrity to strip down for PETA? According to Page Six, the pop star caught the eye of the animal rights organization when she wore an entire outfit made of Kermit the Frogs, explaining to Ryan Seacrest:

“I really loved this one . . . because I thought it was a commentary on not wearing fur, ’cause I hate fur and I don’t wear fur.”

A PETA representative already reached out and is waiting for an answer. If she decides to do it, she’ll join the range of stars like Pamela Anderson, Eva Mendes, Pink and Chloe Kardashian who have bared all for the animals, of course.

In reality, her birthday suit may be the least bizarre ensemble we’ve seen Lady Gaga decked out in.

Megan Fox is pulling out all her sexiest looks for the Transformers 2 promotional tour. She attended the Berlin premiere in a sexy red Roberto Cavalli dress that plunged to there, was slit up to here, and featured an ample showing of waist, too.

Back in February, Transformers star Megan Fox broke off her engagement to longtime boyfriend Brian Austin Green, much to the delight of fans everywhere. Their joy, however, was short-lived, as it seemed that Fox and Green couldn’t really quit each other.When asked about her love life at a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen press conference in Berlin, she said, “I’m currently what you would call single, I guess.”

She joked that she’d like to move on to a Korean pop star, saying, “There is this Korean Justin Timberlake named Rain and I’m really on his situation now. I’m trying to fix this up. I’m working hard.”

David Beckham fans took over one of Britain’s busiest streets as the footballer unveiled the latest image for his Armani underwear campaign of himself wearing only underpants.

The event marked the launch of Emporio Armani’s new underwear campaign, which stars the footballer and a poster in which he is pictured clutching a rope as he models the snug-fitting pants was unveiled outside Selfridges in London’s Oxford Street. In his campest photoshoot yet, the 34-year-old LA Galaxy and Milan star poses stripped to black pants, with a rope coiled around his waist. His hair is slicked down and side-parted.

Beckham, more fully dressed in a navy single-breasted Armani suit and accompanied by presenter Gaby Logan, seemed bemused by the attention and screams from fans and from hundreds of onlookers as the poster was revealed at the store. The crowd, many of whom had been there since 9am, jostled for space on the pavement, already crowded because of the tube strike. As the first billboard of Beckham to appear in London was unveiled, the crowd cheered and wolf-whistled their approval. One girl was sick with excitement over the barricade. His wife, Victoria Beckham, was inside the store, in personal shopping.

Beckham, was asked if he enjoyed the experience and said he did not mind the photos being taken, but added: “When they’re unveiled it’s a little embarrassing.” He said he did not go on special diets for the pictures to be taken but “obviously I work out before these shoots”. Beckham added: “I’m very proud to be here today.”

Giorgio Armani said, “David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges.”

The image was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott renowned fashion photographers who are also responsible for the images of Victoria Beckham for Armani.

The company has seen a 150% rise in the sale of their pants – as seen on Beckham – since the three-year deal, rumoured to be worth £10m launched in 2007.

Bridal wear genius Vera Wang has signed on to compete in the next season of Dancing With the Stars, E! News reports. As one of the world’s most influential people in fashion, Wang is a far cry from the occasionally down-and-out celebs and reality TV stars who normally participate in the show, but she has the chops to win. Vera trained as a pro figure skater when she was younger, so there’s a decent probability she’ll follow in the footsteps of DWTS’s season six champion, Kristi Yamaguchi.

It’s hard to believe that Wang will be 60 years old by the time the new season kicks off this fall. She’s designed skating costumes for Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan in the past, so maybe this means we’ll be seeing Vera get down in some original designs. Dancing With the Stars is getting more fashionable for sure!

Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams has just released a new album, The Real Thing, which must be why the singer seems committed to keeping it real in promotional interviews. When asked by Essence about her beauty and skincare regimen, Williams was strikingly honest; “Twice a year I receive BOTOX injections from a doctor whom I trust very much. I also have some favorite beauty products that I use on a daily basis – Perfekt’s Skin perfection Gel and Mila Moursi’s moisturizing oil.”

But Williams has been candid about her love of Botox before. She once said, “I did after I turned 40. But I told the doctor, ‘My face has got to move. I am not looking for perfection, I am looking for refreshment.’”

Plenty of other celebrities have been open about their use of Botox, including Jenny McCarthy, Jennie Garth, Linda Evangelista, David Hasselhoff, Janice Dickinson, and Lori Laughlin.

Fergie shines while she promotes her new album with the Black Eyed Peas, making an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Fergie and crew arrived semi-casual for the event, although their threads definitely attracted stares all on their own! Fergie changed into uber-glam for the main event, donning a green, sparkly Emilio Pucci dress for her time on camera. The dress featured panel cut-outs to show off Fergie’s insanely fit body. Fergie wore the revealing dress with a great pair of strappy metallic sandals.

Jennifer Garner made her first red carpet appearance since the birth of her second daughter, Seraphina Rose, in January. She was there to support Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, a new romantic comedy in which she stars opposite Matthew McConaughey.

Jennifer looked lovely in a black, floor-length Rachel Roy dress. She took a cue from the Angelina Jolie school of glamour, jazzing up the black with a brilliant green pendant necklace. Model Camilla Alves, otherwise known as Matthew McConaughey’s lady, chose a provocative, sparkling nude dress with a plunge that would have made Jennifer Lopez jealous. This is quite a dress, and she pulls it off without looking like she belongs in adult films.

Rapper Lil’ Kim and her partner Derek Hough may have been the top scorers on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars — earning two 10s with their fiery jive set to Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” — but their onstage success was nearly upstaged by a potential wardrobe malfunction! Host Tom Bergeron provided cover while the rapper adjusted as she and Hough approached the judges table.

Lil’ Kim told KABC-TV after the show: “I don’t know why this happens a lot of the time, but … the girls were tryin’ to come out.”

The nearly X-rated moment was edited out by the time the show was rebroadcast on the West Coast, but it didn’t seem to bother the judges: Lil’ Kim and Hough posted a night’s best 28 out of a possible 30 for their spirited dance.

Last week Tori Spelling’s mother came out with her book and this week Tori came out with hers:  ‘Mommywood’.   The two have been talking through the press a lot lately without direct communication with one another.  That has got to be strange, right?  Candy Spelling took to her website to plead with her daughter to talk with her.

But Tori has been getting more press about her weight than her new book for a good reason! The former 90210 actress has been looking rail-thin in recent months, with her arms and legs causing plenty of speculation about an eating disorder. She gave birth to her daughter Stella 10 months ago.

But Tori says she’s completely healthy. She told People Magazine that she has definitely felt pressure to be thin in Hollywood and she’s “not anorexic.”:

“I acknowledge that I look thin in photos. I get it,” she says about the 40 lbs. she’s lost since delivering Stella last June. “Obviously I don’t want to lose any more weight, but people haven’t seen me not pregnant in two and a half years. I’m eating healthy, I just have a crazy lifestyle. I’m the first to admit that sometimes I don’t have the time to sit down for a well-balanced meal. Usually you kind of just finish whatever your child doesn’t eat. I’m like, ‘Cool, you have a few pieces of hot dog left and one broccoli floret and a fry, I’ll take it.’”

“I want to be a positive role-model for my daughter,” Tori continues. “The last thing I want to put out there is that it’s acceptable to be too thin or have an eating disorder because you’re in Hollywood. I have two kids that I need to be healthy for because they need their mom.”

While Kim Kardashian showed up looking absolutely fabulous in Camilla and Marc Alabama dress with her White Eel Christian Louboutin N.Prive Slingbacks, Tori on the other hand, looked like a giant stack of celery! Who told Tori this dress looked flattering?

Miley Cyrus wore Alberta Ferretti to the premiere of “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” her first big live-action starring vehicle, a navy minidress with a high-waisted belt; quite the coup for that designer, as well as BCBG, which furnished her cropped black leather jacket. Miley’s other main accessory was her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who co-stars in the movie that jumps their wildly successful television show to the big screen.

Joining them on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theater in the heart of Hollywood was country singer Taylor Swift, who has a cameo in the film and was a knockout in a Naeem Khan strapless, black-beaded cocktail dress paired with Christian Louboutin cutaway heels. Vanessa Williams plays a publicist in the teen-oriented film, and she brightened the red carpet in a bright yellow sheath paired with a massive turquoise necklace.

Plenty of other familiar faces were on hand for the special screening, including cast members Emily Osment, Lucas Till, Jason Earles, Melora Hardin, and Barry Bostwick, as well as “Hanna Montana” fans Teri Hatcher and her tweener daughter Emerson Rose Tenney, Antonio Sabato, Jr., and his little girl Mina, and famous offspring Jaden and Willow Smith, who left mom and dad Jada and Will at home.

Everyone gathered at the end of the long red carpet to eat burgers and tri tip at the BBQ offered up before the movie unspooled, but 16-year-old Miley was too busy discussing her burgeoning career to stop for a bite.

“We’re going to continue with season three of “Hannah,” she revealed, “and I have a tour in mind for this year. This summer I am working on a movie that Nicolas Sparks wrote for me, where I can actually see if I’m a good actor or not, or just good at playing myself.”

Playing herself in “Hannah Montana: The Movie” definitely worked for the partisan premiere crowd, who cheered long and hard as the movie began, and again as it ended, so one thing is certain if those fans and the screaming girls that struggled behind the barricades outside for a glimpse of their heroine get their way. Miley Cyrus will still have a career playing Hannah Montana for a long time to come.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a black strapless Valentino dress, she has worn before back in 2003. The dress was a fit for the occasion, her hair and make-up was impeccable as always, and she completed her look with a stunning Chopard bracelet.

I love that sun-kissed glow.” Judging from these behind the scenes footage, it’s gonna be one hell of a calendar!

Apparently the Jonas Brothers have put out a book, a 3-D movie, and are working on a TV show in addition to whatever else it is that they do (throw sweaty boxer shorts at screaming 12-year-olds?). We always knew that the Jonas Brothers were stylish and now they’re taking it to a new level. Now, the Brothers are launching a clothing line for tween girls for back-to-school, inspired by the fashions on their new Disney show. Called Jonas, the line will be available for purchase at retailers including WalMart, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penney’s and will retail from $9.99 to $24.99. Pieces include ruffly denim skirts, polo shirts, and plaid shorts.

The irony, of course, is that the Jonas Brothers have nothing to do with the new fashion line, since it’s all based on the fictitious brothers in show. Not that that would matter. The boys are pretty much just a marketable commodity these days; it’s a wonder anyone in the industry ever remembers they’re actually living, breathing young men and not just money making machines. You may now go back to not knowing if they are in fact real brothers!

Roberto Cavalli has had a rocky start to 2009 with his Just Cavalli show being pulled from Milan Fashion Week. However, it’s great to see him with a smile on his face as he opened a new boutique in Paris with a little help from his celebrity friends. Milla Jovovich, who has been a front row fixture, partied in a white Spring ‘09 Cavalli dress and killer heels. Diane Kruger also wore Cavalli in a chain-mail Autumn ‘09 dress with a fur bolero. Other attendees included Adriana Lima, Jade Jagger, Kanye West and Peaches Geldof and Cory Kennedy who have been watching shows together all weekend.

And while the Italian designer was answering questions from the press and posing for photographers, Kanye West and his girlfriend Amber Rose walks in the store! Gracious as ever, Roberto Cavalli welcomed the American rap star in his luxurious store.

Champagne flowing, it was what fashion parties are made of! And, though it was hard to imagine that the launch of the Roberto Cavalli Credit Card in Milan could not be more posh, the store opening in Paris proved that recession or no recession, Roberto Cavalli knows how to throw a party!

The Tudors heartthrob Jonathan Rhys Meyers strikes a pose for the new Energie Jeans ads. The first images of the advertising campaign was launched in January this year. More ads will definitely be revealed later this year since Jonathan is the new face for Energie for the next two seasons.
